Prof. Haraguchi completed an orthopaedic fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, USA (Top Rated Foot and Ankle Surgeons – Institute in Baltimore- Mercy). He was also a research fellow at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore (Johns Hopkins Medicine).

In 2018, Prof. Haraguchi became the head of the orthopedics department at St. Marianna University Yokohama Seibu Hospital, where he established the Foot and Ankle Surgery Center and accepted special cases from all over Japan.

Since April 2025, he has been the professor and chairman of orthopedics at St.Marianna University Hospital, where he performs advanced foot and ankle surgery.
